The Jamacha Project is the collaboration of four San Diego area musicians, each with many years of professional experience.   The group, recognized by the Independent Music Channels as Best Emerging Artist, is comprised of Barry Cogdill, Mark Phillips and Chris Anderson, with Gregg Ferreria on bass and guitar, and Joe Bradich on percussion.  The Jamacha Project writes and performs original music that is an eclectic blend of Americana, rock, and blues, that features their distinctive instrumental work and rich vocal harmonies.

Barry: Growing up in a theatre arts family, and being on stage before age 5, Barry Cogdill has been playing keyboards, singing, and writing songs for most of his life. Benefiting from a group of life-long musically inclined friends, he has collaborated with diverse San Diego bands such as Metro, The Lomatones, The Balladmongers (still a member), the Molemen, and now—The Jamacha Project. His musical tastes are varied, with classical, jazz, rock, and R&B influences, and even a little musical theater. The Jamacha Project is a great fit for his appreciation of melody and harmony, and creative original music.
